Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! (It’s 3.14 today, in case you’re wondering why it is celebrated today of all days.)

Coinciding with the celebration of this annual festivity among mathematicians and people who have an affinity for all things pi/e, I’m posting my first-ever blog post. HOORAY!

It’s been ages in the making. Mostly reticence on my part. Thank goodness for patient friends and mentors who have pushed, cajoled, encouraged, and guided me to get to this point.

The blog is still in its infancy, so expect its look, form, and shape to change along the way.

2017 is shaping up to be a most creative year, starting with the 100-Day Project and a writing stint for a website I’ve long admired and followed.

For an ambivert like me, this journey into blog-hood is scary for my inner introvert. But, well, one way to grow is to step out of one’s comfort zones, right?

I think this small but significant step deserves a toast—or in this case, some pie. CHEERS!

Happy and content-looking pies at Pie Face. #goals

In case you missed today’s celebration of Pi Day, don’t fret. There’s still July 22 to look forward to.
